The
CSME promotes the safe construction and operation of passenger
carrying steam, electric and diesel hauled trains,
traction
engines and other scale models.
Events for 2010
Chelmsford Miniature Railway offers rides for the
public every Sunday from April 25th to September
26th.
Normally free car parking near to site with light refreshments
available.
Sunday 2nd May - ride behind a variety of steam, electric and diesel locomotives. Various models on display.
Sunday 22nd August - the Mayor of Chelmsford will be here to 'play' trains and to celebrate 75 years of the Society.
Sunday 14th
November - train rides with all proceeds to BBC's
Children in Need.
Sunday 5th December - the popular Santa
Special - train rides and presents for children - entrance by tickets only.
